Strength Through Story is an online support group for pregnant, postpartum and adoptive mothers. It is fully supportive and inclusive, and focuses on healing through storytelling.


In this group, we utilize the power of writing to transform some of the negative thoughts you’re feeling into resourced and empowering action. I want to help you identify the words you use to describe yourself and your experiences so that you can move toward healing and self-compassion.


We cover one topic every week, and topics include redefining

trauma, processing grief and loss, our relationships with our bodies, trusting in the temporary, reaching for joy, effective communication, the way fear manifests in our bodies and minds—and, of course—mom guilt.


The group meets every Saturday at 10 a.m. CST via Zoom. Writing exercises accompany each week's group, but don't worry—you do not have to be a writer to join the group. Exercises are easy to understand and structured to fit into your life as a busy mom. All you need is a computer, internet connection, notebook and pen.

You do *not* need to be a new mom to be part of the group. The postpartum period is defined by you. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns before joining the group.
